Special Delivery Replacement Insurance (Optional Add-On)
Add contractual replacement cover to your live aquatic order dispatched via Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm.
This is an optional Replacement Insurance Product and must be purchased in addition to your delivery service if replacement consideration is required. Without it, live goods are shipped entirely at customer risk once dispatched.
Coverage Summary
- One replacement maximum per order
- Up to two missed delivery consideration
- Safe place condition review (theft or loss excluded)
- Four hour inspection window (insured orders only)
Replacement Cap
Replacement consideration under Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm is limited to the maximum value of the applicable Insurance Tier selected for the order.
There is no fixed monetary cap applied to Special Delivery beyond the limits of the Insurance Tier purchased.
Replacement value is assessed in accordance with the selected Insurance Tier and remains subject to all conditions, limitations, inspection requirements, and eligibility criteria set out in our Terms & Conditions.
Postage and insurance fees are non-refundable.
Replacement Conditions
Replacement is issued once only per order and only where all inspection, attendance, and evidence requirements are met in full.
Replacement shipments do not reinstate, refresh, or extend insurance coverage.
Missed Delivery
- Up to two missed delivery considerations may be reviewed where insurance has been purchased and all delivery obligations have been met by the Customer.
- Returned-to-sender outcomes, repeated missed deliveries, theft from safe place, or failure to attend delivery void eligibility.
Inspection & Evidence Requirements
- Inspect within two hours of delivery (four hours if insured)
- Provide one continuous unedited video (minimum fifteen seconds per affected container)
- Contents must remain in original packaging
- Clear visibility of all affected items required
Failure to meet these requirements voids replacement eligibility.

Replacement Insurance is single-use, non-transferable, applies only to the specific order it was purchased with, and does not guarantee delivery success or live arrival.
